I am a 17 year old female who got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in May 2009. Many of my friends didn’t understand what I was going through and it was very hard to keep up in school! I had the hardest time coping and understanding this disease. I found that with the help of others, who have colitis around me, it makes it easier and I like the communication. I’m still struggling to this day but I’m hoping for healing! |
