Priority Initiatives

The Canadian Digestive Health Foundation provides expert advice and compassionate support to the millions of Canadians who suffer from digestive disorders. We are here to help you recognize symptoms that could be related to digestive disorders, understand specific digestive diseases, connect with others who have similar experiences, and find effective ways to manage your digestive health.

You can trust us to provide you with practical, science-based information that is up to date and unbiased. Our priority initiatives focus on specific areas to promote and protect digestive health and help you understand and live better lives when digestive diseases affects you.

Our First Priority Programs

  • A Look Inside
Screening and Other Strategies to Detect and Prevent Digestive Disorders

Despite the availability of safe and reliable tests, the proportion of Canadians being screened for colorectal cancer is unacceptably low. The results are lives lost and rising healthcare costs.
  • An Appetite for Information
Treatment Options Awareness Program for those Living with Digestive Disease

The CDHF has created An Appetite for Information to help improve the quality of life for people living with, or at risk of developing, digestive disease.
  • Digest This
An educational program to help protect corporate Canada's digestive health and bottom line

CDHF has created Digest This to promote and preserve the digestive health of Canadians in the workforce.
