Digest This

An educational program to help protect corporate Canada’s digestive health and bottom line

Digestive disease negatively impacts the bottom line of corporate Canada. Every employee – and therefore every employer in Canada – is affected. Digestive diseases impair performance, represent significant employer insurance costs for medication, therapy and extended absenteeism and, reduce employee attendance and morale.

CDHF has created Digest This to promote and preserve the digestive health of Canadians in the workforce. This unique, comprehensive and interactive program is supported by on-site employee seminars and communications materials that help companies manage, monitor and predict the benefit costs associated with a healthy digestive culture; increase awareness of, and accessibility to, foods that enhance digestive health for employees; lower insurance expenses for medications, therapy and extended absenteeism; and, improve the vitality, morale, attentiveness, alertness and productivity of Canadians in the workforce.

Corporations completing Digest This receive the CDHF certification of participation and are recognized for protecting their most valuable assets – their staff.
